You have to sit in the car for a while, but then you get something. In the church village of Posterholt, a few kilometres from the German border, lies Holsterhof. The warm, homely restaurant of Lissa Landman – ten Berge and Kaj Landman, located in the former farm of Lissa’s grandfather. If it’s not the atmosphere and entourage that make you feel at home here in no time, it’s the competence of the good-humoured hostess.
Lissa and Kaj – both business and private partners – both gained much of their gastronomic experience at Atelier aan de Markt in Gulpen, under the wings of Hans and Ellen Kinkartz. In Holsterhof’s kitchen, Kaj combines that expertise and cooking techniques with purely fresh products, preferably from the region. The resulting dishes are refined and tasty. Lissa is responsible for the perfect accompaniment in the glass. Weather permitting, a luxurious terrace is ready to enjoy the refined flavours and service of Lissa, Kaj and their team in peace and comfort.
