A wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy. Hotel-castle TerWorm, in green surroundings on the outskirts of Heerlen. Lunch and dinner are served here in one of the five restaurant salons, all located in the centuries-old castle, or on the terrace by the moat.
With the arrival of the new chef de cuisine in 2023, a new, fresh wind is blowing through the castle’s kitchen. Dave Beckers – a seasoned ‘castle chef’ – brings refined dishes and innovative flavour combinations, which fit the castle’s classic image yet are contemporary. In this, he uses as many local ingredients as possible and has ambitions to further grow the level of castle cuisine.
Maître d’hotel and sommelier Coen Middeldorp also dares to present a wine list full of uncommon wines, in addition to well-known wines or classic wine regions. Get surprised here with wines from unknown wine regions and countries, and from unknown grape varieties.
This year, TerWorm is serving 25 years as a hotel and restaurant. That anniversary will be celebrated with the renovation of the hotel rooms, and an advantageous anniversary package.
