Long before the family restaurant opened in 2001, she realised that Limburg winemakers were golden. For more than two decades, she has therefore been pouring purely wines from Dutch and Belgian Limburg at Mes Amis. In some cases even specimens she develops in collaboration with the Limburg winemakers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The kitchen team, led by son, co-owner and chef Patriek Doelen, bases refined dishes on the flavours of the finest Limburg wines. To do so, they work as much as possible with suppliers and products from close to home, although there may be the occasional trip further afield. By working this way, the Mes Amis restaurant team presents beautiful, ultra-fresh and above all pure taste experiences that pair perfectly with the absolute gems from the Limburg vineyards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Served together in a cosy, homely monumental building on the edge of Maastricht city centre.
