In an 18th-century presbytery in Dilsen-Stokkem, he found the place many years ago to offer his guests a warm setting in which his cuisine &#8211; French-inspired &#8211; comes into its own.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whenever he sees the chance, Clevers likes to use products from the region, such as in the asparagus season. But it can also come from a little further afield, such as the Anjou pigeon, which is given a fine cuisson. When it comes to cooking, Clevers needs to learn nothing. Using both native and eastern spices, he adds extra tension to French cuisine.
